Our Story

An idea born back in 2017, our family had been working hard that summer to prep our backyard for the wedding of a close family member. We had never hosted a wedding before and weren't sure what to expect.

While stressful at times, we absolutely adored taking part in such a special celebration and sharing our space we had enjoyed so much.

We didn’t think much of the event until the requests to host kept coming. It was then we realized the need for affordable venues in our own community, and My Backyard Wedding was born!

Since then, we've loved hosting weddings, youth activities, non-profit gatherings and other events. We're SO happy you're here, now let's find your dream backyard wedding venue!!!
